Hectic 12-hour Feeding Frenzy!
Posted in Catch Reports on 02nd October 2007Martin Finan from Glos has been using the B5 for a number of years with some outstanding results, however, few sessions will probably be remembered quite as much as his recent one when he managed to bank five absolute crackers in a hectic 12-hour B5 feeding frenzy!
The biggest of the bunch was a 40lb 6oz mirror (pictured right) followed by a stunning 37lb 9oz common, but as if that wasn’t enough, he then went on to bank a 33lb 10z Fully-Scaled mirror, a 28lb 6oz mirror and a 26lb 14oz common. Now that’s what we call ‘short session success’!!
The wonders of Thaumatin
Thaumatin is undoubtedly one of the most attractive ingredients we have ever seen when it comes to producing a stimulatory response. It can be used in particles, boilies, boilie glugs, liquid foods, stick, spod and spomb mixes etc, etc. Even match anglers have used it in their maggots and groundbait formulations and romped past their nearest competitors, simply because the fish seem to go into a complete feeding frenzy when this stuff is added to food!
