Fantastic year on the B5!
Posted in Catch Reports on 17th November 2011One customer who has been having a fantastic season since he switched to the awesome B5 is Paul Radford and he's been getting amongst the big fish again! Paul has been catching a very consistent amount of 30lb+ fish and recently sent us this nice letter:
"I have just landed another great fish, this two tone common of 33lb 4oz . The fish in my lake mainly consists of doubles and 20's with a few 30's and 2 40's. I can't believe i have had another thirty when other anglers haven't had any, especially considering i have only done 15 one day/night sessions and had 12 fish, with 7 being over thirty!!!! The bait just seems to pick out the bigger fish which i find amazing. I just wished i had used this bait years ago. Many thanks for providing me with a great bait" - PAUL RADFORD

Liquid Flavours
A cracking forty-plus caught from a pressured venue on the B5 with Shellfish Plum flavour. Bait choice was a key factor to a very succesful campaign on this venue.
Liquid flavours play an important roll within the creation of a successful long term bait recipe for a number of reasons. They will not only help to give the finished bait it’s own unique taste profile, but also give it a distinctive ‘label’ that the carp will come to recognise through association. In other words, you will be educating them to eat the bait and recognise the 'taste' and 'smell' over a period of time.
Be careful not to get flavours confused with attractors though, because in terms of nutritional value, unlike liquid foods, they have little or no food value, however, for the reasons outlined above, they are a very important addition to any successful recipe.
