Essential Bait boss Mike Willmott managed to get the rods out for the first time in six months and what a session it was! Returning to his beloved Frampton for the last few days of the season he managed to bank five carp from two different swims, this included a 29lb 4oz common followed by mirrors of 20.04, 26.02, 33.06 and 34.08.
Once again the successful bait was the ever consistent Shellfish B5 and all the fish were caught at close range amongst patchy weed as the fish followed a new wind to feed on the abundant fly hatches. Yet further proof that the B5 will compete side by side with their natural food.
