Long time Essential Bait user Dave Fuidge from Glos has recently started fishing a local gravel pit which holds some cracking commons. Despite little else being caught since the arrival of the first few frosts, Dave has been receiving a consistent amount of action on the Winterised B5. This includes a hectic short overnight session in sub zero temperatures, which produced a 4-fish catch topped by this superb 34lb common.

Dave has since been back and caught a number of good fish, even during high pressure clear frosty nights, testament that the coldwater version of the awesome B5 still continues to produce the goods when all other baits seem to die off. All of Dave’s fish have come from marginal spots with just a dozen or so freebies presented around each rig.
