Incredible success!
We've had loads of big common reports lately but Matt Davies has recently taken the carp world by storm and wins our 'Top Catch Competition' hands down. Shortly after catching 'The Mother' from Elstow at 46lb 14oz, (not on Essential Baits) Matt decided to open up his account on Bundy's pit using a mixture of B5 boilies and pellets and on June 16th he banked a new lake record in the shape of this awesome 46lb 6oz common!! This topped an eight fish catch, which also included mirrors of 37lb 10oz and 35lb 4oz - top B5 bombing!!
As if all the above wasn't enough, Matt returned to the pit the following week for a short overnighter and banked anover massive common! This one went 43lb 12oz and was a fish that hadn't seen the bank for 2-years! Once again, the incredible B5 doing the business.
Well done Matt from all at Essential. That really is a hectic spell of big fish action...
